Welcome to my post...today I would like to share with you my projects for Scrapbookit and Sketches in Thyme which were both posted online on Thursday.
So grab a cuppa......we could be here for a little while!

SCRAPBOOKIT
The February/March challenge is up and running over at Scrapbookit. Click here to pop on over and check out what has been produced by the girls so far.
I have been lucky enough to work with the Kaisercraft Marigold Collection this month. I will admit that I am not a 'flowery' sort of girl but these papers have been so fun to work with. It made the challenge a breeze.....well, maybe!

The challenge this month at Scrapbookit is to:-
* Use a mask
* Use mist
* Use string or twine
Plus use this gorgeous sketch from Scrapbook Challenges.
Well, I was a touch naughty.....I flipped my sketch over and turned the photo so that it was a landscape photo. I can see a resemblance to the sketch........maybe you will tell me otherwise!

Here is my layout...
I have used the beautiful Kaisercraft Marigold Papers and Sticker sheet embellishments, bakers twine, Silhouette Cameo and Font 'SNF Infinity Bold,' The Crafter's Workshop 6x6 Template - Mini Rustic Paint, Mister Huey's Colour Mists - Dark Calico,  Kaisercraft Wooden Flourish - Ornate Frame.
Such a great little collection of yummy scrappy goodness I say!

Scrapbookit also has a card challenge. For this month's challenge you need to follow the following guidelines...
* Use embossing
* Use rub-ons
* Use a quote
I have enjoyed using the Marigold Collection so much that I made another card....just because I could! Actually I was procrastinating from doing work!
So they are my most recent projects for Scrapbookit. Just before I switch over to Sketches inThyme....If you have kids that love to scrapbook too...make sure they also head on over to Scrapbookit. This month we are trialling something new...
A kids challenge!
Make sure you pop over and check it out.
SKETCHES IN THYME
Over at Sketches in Thyme we have a new 'Double Page' layout.
Here is the sketch....
There is some awesome inspiration from all of the Mavens and as always, we welcome you to join in. You may like to flip, rotate, and adapt the sketch to work for you- as long as we can still see the sketch in there, you're good! If you link up to any of the February sketches, you're entered to be a guest designer with us in April!!

As I have said previously, I am using all of my Sketches in Thyme work to chip away at Brayden's baby album. So I apologise if you are sick of all of the baby photos.
I was so excited to use some paper by 'Little Yellow Bicycle' that I have had stashed away. It is the Baby Saurus collection.
The photos were taken of Brayden when he was only a few days old. It was one of his first experiences in his bouncer. I gathered all of these photos together and made it a 'Many Faces of Our Boy' page.
Here it is...
Not only did I use papers out of my stash I also used embellishments that I have had stashed away for a long time like the little nappy pin and tags.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the cute little stars and two types of Thickers for my title.

Make sure you head over to Sketches in Thyme to check out what the other Mavens have created.....they are amazing! While you are there why not join in!

Well, that is me for today...my blog posts have been very few this year but hopefully I have inspired you to head over to Scrapbookit and Sketches in Thyme to join in the creative fun!
See you there,
By the way if you are a Facebook user I am beginning to create a 'Mels Me Time' page...not a lot there just yet but would love you to pop on over and like my page!
Here is the link....MelsMeTime on Facebook!

Welcome!
A lot of happenings in this household since my last post. We survived the organisation of the Dream Strive Achieve Dinner at Brayden's school. It was a great night....I believe everyone enjoyed themselves. An awesome night and some good money raised for the kids.
Mother's Day has also been and gone......I was spoilt with a voucher to go to High Tea at the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne and the contents of the raffle prize won at the dinner including a neck, back and shoulder massage and facial at Beautifully Done.
We are preparing for a big few weeks with the Sandhurst Diocesan Conference in Bendigo at the end of this week and then I am off next week for another conference. Busy, busy, busy! I haven't even mentioned school reports.

Unfortunately not a lot of scrapbooking has been happening. I have done a few little projects that I am unable to share with you until the end of the week. They are for Scrapbookit's newest challenge. Make sure you head over (click here) and check out what the team have posted so far....some gorgeous work!

I have though got a double layout to share with you today. As you might recall I have been attempting to complete some of Brayden's Baby Album. There are SO many photos...I am attempting to pull out those that tell the story and any extras or double ups I will place in his special photo box (although I may need another one!)

Todays layout is of our very first cuddles with our little man. Please excuse the photos on the layout...7 years ago we had a digital camera which produced pixelated images. Not like I can go back and retake these!

First Cuddles
Not the most glamorous photos of either Jason or I but boy are they very special.
I have used some scraps of patterned paper from my collection together with some Kraft Cardstock.
Here are some close ups....
I have also used a label maker to print my little 'with Mum' and 'with Dad' labels. I haven't used them for ages and had almost forgot about them.
Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day and don't forget to leave a comment to let me know what you think.

Well what a huge week. I hope the end of the week finds everyone really well and ready for some relaxation and recovery over the weekend. There has been so much happening in our little world as I am sure there has been in everyone's household.
I am here to share with you the next instalment of Brayden's baby album. I must warn you that this photo (the one on the layout) is not the best quality or the best of us but what a very special moment in our lives.
Here it is...
Don't we look exhausted!!!
The quality of the photo doesn't help....our camera was not a great one...needless to say we bought a new one rather quickly.
I used a photo of the newspaper clipping as the original is in Brayden's baby book. It isn't the best copy but I really wanted the details in the clipping included on this layout.
Again, I think this patterned paper was one my sister gave to me in my early days of scrapbooking.
Here is a close up of the details...
Well, I hope you like this addition to Brayden's baby album.
I am just so excited to get some of these special moments recorded.
I hope you get to enjoy some 'Me Time' (whatever that may be) at some point over the weekend.

Hey Everyone,
I hope all is well in your world and that you have had a lovely day of remembrance for ANZAC Day. A very special day in all Australians hearts.Over the last two weeks I have been on sick leave. Whilst in the beginning I didn't feel like scrapbooking (that is a big call for me) I have well and truly done some since then.
Over the next few days I would love to share what I have been doing.
I decided that it was high time to get into completing Brayden's baby album (it has been 7 years now!)
I started by checking out all of the different baby/little boy papers that I had.....hmmmm a bit scary what I have collected!!
Then I sorted my photos! Well, I sorted the ones that are printed.
I started from the beginning....here is my first layout....Introducing...
I have no idea what paper this is. It is one of the very first papers I ever had in my stash as were the embellishments and ribbons. As a matter of fact I think my sister bought it for me!
I have used little Adorn-It stickers and of course gorgeous Thickers - as always!
Here are some close ups...
Isn't he just so gorgeous! Well, I think so anyway.
Thanks for popping by.....I will be back for another share soon!
