He turned 7 the other day - whilst this is very exciting - for him - I get very sad to think....where all that time has gone!!!!!
For this layout I have used the beautiful Bo Bunny 'Believe' Collection. It is a really beautiful collection. I have also used Kaisercraft's Wood Flourishes - Stars, Kaisercraft - Alpha Stickers - White, Burgundy Versamark Ink, Antique Burgundy Zig Writer and some organza ribbon.
To celebrate the final instalment of Santa Photo's I am going to run a little giveaway.

Until next time,

A quick post today.....and really late! Sorry!
Life has been busy, busy, busy with not much scrapping......rather disturbing!
Anyway, here is the next instalment of Santa Photos.
It was really funny revisiting this photo and chatting to Brayden about it. He could not believe that he felt like that about Santa......Santa is not scary Mum!!!
Poor Santa was out on a limb here......I guess at least he wasn't screaming Myer down. Still the body language say it all.
Here is the 2006 Santa Photo.....Brayden at 1 and a half years old.....
I have used....
Cardstock - Bazzill Embossed - Cream - I just love the texture!
Patterned Paper - Authentique "Wonder" Collection.
Versa Mark Ink - Burgundy; Zig Writer - Antique Burgundy; Kaisercraft Alpha Stickers - Cream.
These little pressies were sooooo easy to make. A few squares...some hearts and some paper or ribbon to decorate.

Over at Scrapbookit, Jo has launched the new challenge for the month of LOVE. Monica Brady has set this challenge and it is a beauty.....can't wait to share my interpretation with you all. Why not pop over to see what Jo has come up with by clicking here.
Until next time,

Gee, I am not so good at keeping promises....am I??
I apologise for not posting the next instalment as promised the other day.....going back to work and school just took over :0(
It has been a big week in our household - Jason and I both headed back to work after some great family time together and Brayden started back to school. Grade 2.....who can believe it!! As I left early for work on Brayden's first day I left Jason in charge of the annual 'first day of school' photo in front of the screen door.
Look at what I got....
Well, that is what they greeted me with when I arrived home. You can imagine my face and my reaction!!!!
Then they showed me the other photos.....thank goodness there are some really nice ones!
Here is my little fella on his first day of Grade 2....
Well, as you can imagine this week in the scrapbooking world has been really sad......going back to work really puts a hole in your creative time.....One day someone will work it out that the weekend should be 5 days and the working week 2!!!!!
I am actually heading to the creative room this afternoon to have some 'me time.'
Here is the 2007 Santa Photo layout that I created over the break.
Materials:
Patterned Paper: Raspberry Christmas Collection
Versa Mark Ink - Burgundy; Kaisercraft Mini Alpha Stickers - Cream.
I just loved how I could cut these embellishments out of the 'Raspberry' collection. It makes coordinating papers and embellishments really easy.
Well, I best go and make good use of my creative time....I have projects up to my eyeballs!!!!
Don't forget to pop over to Scrapbookit and enter the challenge....you only have until Valentine's Day (14th February).

My holidays are coming quickly to a close which is rather sad but after sitting and thinking of all of the scrapping I have completed this holidays I was rather impressed with my efforts. I hope to keep this up throughout the year but I won't promise anything...:0)
So the last time I posted some of my Santa Photo Christmas layouts I think I had 4 left in the collection to do. Well, I am done. The best thing was that I used a different Christmas collection for each of the layouts. Some of them older collections others newer collections. It was so nice to raid my stash!

This is the 2008 Santa photo....
I have used Ruby Rock It Christmas Cheer Collection. I got them from a kit Charlotte (one of my students last year) gave me for Christmas......how spoilt am I????
Materials: Bazzill Cardstock; Staz On - Jet Black; Versa Mark Ink - Evergreen; Kaisercraft Wood Flourish; Garden Green - Stampin' Write Marker; Pure Red - Zig Writer; Crystalina Kindy Glitz; Kelly Panacci Clear Stamps (Christmas); acetate; Twine - red and white.
Here is a close up of the stamps that I stamped onto acetate as embellishments. Tip: Make sure when stamping onto something like acetate to use the Staz On Ink.....perfect for stamping onto those 'smooth' and 'shiny' items.
Well I hope you have enjoyed looking at Santa Photo layout #3. Pop by tomorrow for the next installment - Santa Photo 2007.

After a week of relaxation reality is slowly starting to hit home :0(
We did have a lovely week and it did warm up towards the end of the week - which was nice.
Yesterday, the boys went for another game of golf and whenever a game of golf gets mentioned I know I can spend a little time scrapping......which I did. Yes whoever says you can't scrapbook anywhere and everywhere is CRAZY!!! I set myself up under the caravan awning. Check it out....
Today I am going to share with you what I got up to in my few short hours at the caravan......the golf game seemed to end so quickly!!!
Whilst deciding what to take away with me I figured that to make some cards would probably be the best option. After sorting through all of my Christmas stuff I thought I would be organised and make some cards for 2012.....how organised is that????
Now when going away in such a confined space you need to select carefully what to take. I took my 'basics' and as my friend Liz would I took some post it notes! I made 10 Christmas cards in the couple of golfing hours and all I need to do when I get home is ink/stitch the edge and add a message. Take a look.....
Yes - I used those post it notes to write a reminder of what I need to do when I get home to finish these off (Thanks Liz!). I used some scraps of Christmas paper (actually I got this patterned paper from the Better Homes and Gardens Magazine - 2010 I think!) and some scraps of ribbon for the bows. My little stars are the shiny ones that you can buy by the hundred - yet another product stashed in my Christmas collection for years!
However, there is one new product and I got it in Canberra. I liked it so much I went and got some other colours. The stems of the trees are a brown tape which I purchased from Typo (a stationary store). It is called 'Tape on a Roll' (original - hey!) It was so easy to work with. I probably wouldn't put it too close to photos (not sure of the 'Acid and Lignin Free' component) but great for cards, tags and OTP projects. Here is the card without the post it note.....
So, next time you are on holidays and doing some scrapping don't forget to take your post it notes.....a great idea! I also took away with me my Copic Markers....I just had a play and nothing worthy of sharing!

How are you going with your entry for the Scrapbookit January/February challenge?? I was talking to my sister in the USA the other day.....she has completed her layout and on the way with her card. Can't wait to see her entry as well as yours.
Until next time,

It had been a while since I had sat and scrapped for just me......boy, what a great feeling it was!
Jo, from Scrapbookit, had sent me the Merry Medley Collection just before Christmas and I decided that it was time to get it out and use it.
I have said to myself after every Christmas......"I will scrap Brayden's Santa Photos this year!" As you can probably guess....I have never done this! So yesterday I sat with my Merry Medley collection and 6 years worth of Santa photos.
Here is what I came up with for 2010's photo....
I just love the colours in this collection. I have used some strips of the 'Lyric' and 'Verse' paper on top of the gorgeous music sheet paper. I have used some brown Staz On ink around the edges of all the papers including the Kraft cardstock to link them all together. I then used some of these papers again to cut my own little tags. I added some buttons with some thread tied as a bow and some ribbon for one of the tags.
The Merry Medley - Elfers Sticker Sheet completed my layout perfectly with some letters, stockings and bauble.

I got the bug for completing Santa photos then and within the click of a finger last night completed another layout. This time it was the 2009 Santa photo and an oldie, but goodie Kaiser collection -  'Tis the Season. Here is what I came up with.....
I have used Kraft cardstock (again...I hear you say.....but it goes so well) and spritzed it with some Red Brick Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I used the 'St. Nick', 'Ornament' and 'Choir' pages from the collection. I just love the St. Nick page with the newspaper print. I used the 'Sleigh' page alongside the 'St. Nick' page for the mounting of my photo.
The star I have used is a Kaisercraft on and I have slightly sprayed it with the Glimmer Mist.
I just love the quote......
"Christmas may be many things or it may be a few. For you the joy is each new toy. For me it's watching you."

By the way.... please ignore the address on these photos...this is my new blog! Feel free to follow my blog, like it on Facebook and Share it with your friends.....and don't forget to let me know what you think by leaving a comment.
